A psychology teacher from Japan is know for his optical illusions. His new one is also making me hungry as well as confused.
The picture above is shot in black in white, although it appears to have a blue filter on it, and when looking at the strawberries they appear to still be red.
The explanation is as simple as this, although there is not a single red pixel in this picture, the reason we still see red is due to a phenomenon called color consistency. In a nut shell our simple brains are so conditioned to seeing strawberries as red, we refuse to see them as the grey color they are in this picture.
