A school holiday program was extra special for a girl in DeSoto, Texas, recently, when her military father showed up for a surprise visit.
Jayla Crawley was assisting the principal of her school at the winter musical program. But when the curtain finally opened for the show, Jayla’s father, Marine Staff Sargent Jordan Crawley, was standing there, on leave from his deployment in Okinawa, Japan.
Jayla had no idea he was visiting and jumped into her father’s arms right on stage.
A surprise visit home for the holidays is the best gift Jordan could have possibly given his daughter at this special time of year.
