These Health Conditions Now Qualify for Medical Marijuana in Minnesota

Two new health conditions now qualify for medical marijuana in the state of Minnesota.

Now, residents with autism or sleep apnea may qualify for the medical marijuana program, effective today (August 1), the Pioneer Press reports.

Other qualifying conditions include glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, ALS, seizures, cancer, terminal illness, intractable pain, Tourette Syndrome, and PTSD, among others. Find the full list from the Minnesota Department of Health here

Minnesota's medical marijuana qualifications are too limiting (in my honest opinion). Coming from Colorado (where both recreational and medical weed is legal), this is one of the biggest culture shocks to me. I don't partake, but it boggles my mind how restrictive Minnesota is in regard to this relatively harmless drug...Honestly, we have so many other more important issues to worry about here other than first world problems like marijuana being the root of evil.
