Luckily here in Minnesota, the scariest thing we'll encounter while paddle boarding is losing balance and touching fish poop. (Oh, poor us!)
This particular paddle boarder came within feet of a great white shark that had been feasting on a seal near Cape Cod.

Paddle boarder Roger Freeman didn't even notice the shark swimming nearby, even though he had knowledge it was in the area. DeGroff showed him the photos of the encounter, which Freeman says he is "still processing."
