Eric Hutchinson had the crowd going crazy! The crowd loved his new single “A Little More” and he had them singing and dancing along through his entire set. At one point he even joined the fans, jumping down to sing in the middle of the crowd! His entire band, which included a couple of Minnestoa locals, are hugely talented and they did a ton of amazing covers (including 'Santeria' by Sublime!) but of course he played fan favorites “Rock & Roll” and “Watching You Watch Him” too!
Delta Rae brought out some sunshine with their performance on the Preferred One Stage. These guys just look like they’re having a blast on stage and the fans definitely joined in on it! They kept the energy high throughout their set with hits like “Run” and “Dance in the Graveyards”. The crowd went crazy for “If I Loved You” and things got especially loud when the band challenged fans to join in on the loudest sing along in Twin Cities history!
MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD
Michael Franti and Spearhead ended the night with a party! Everyone was dancing and singing along through the entire set. And it turns out when he sings “One Step Closer To You” he isn’t messing around. He spent the entire song walking and dancing through the crowd! Ingrid Michaelson even joined him onstage for a duet! Fans danced and sang their way through “I’m Alive”, “The Sound of Sunshine”, “Life Is Better With You”, “Say Hey (I Love You)” and even a mini mash-up that included “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)”. Great way to close out the first night!
PANIC! AT THE DISCO
Panic! At The Disco brought a big crowd to the Sun Country Airlines Stage. They played plenty of their new music, but fans went crazy for some of their oldies! Plenty of sing along moments throughout their entire set and lead singer Brendon Urie even treated the crowd to an epic backflip. A great show with an amazing Minneapolis backdrop.
EDWARD SHARPE AND THE MAGNETIC ZEROS
Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros closed the night out at the Sun Country Airlines Stage with a huge band and the full moon as their backdrop! “Man On Fire” got the entire crowd dancing and “Home” had everyone singing. Singer Alex Ebert even asked the beach ball tossing crowd for requests a couple of times. These guys were absolutely fantastic and they kept the crowd dancing and having a good time all night long!
