To protect themselves in the future, couples are now agreeing to include social media clauses in their prenups.
Although each contract is unique, each party involved can agree not to post, tweet, or share anything on social media about their ex-partner. This includes nude pictures, embarrassing or negative comments about their ex, and even tracking the other person’s posts online.
In some cases couples have agreed to pay their ex if they break the contract. One attorney said his client agreed to pay as much as $50,000 per post if they broke the contract.
