Ed helped kick off last night's Teenage Cancer Trust concert at London's Royal Albert Hall with some serious flow! He says it all in the first line of 'Take It Back', a brand new song that I expect will find its way on to his next record:
"I'm not a rapper, I'm a singer with a flow. I've got a habit for spitting quicker lyrics ya know."
This clip was captured at the 2014 Teenage Cancer Trust Concert held on Monday, March 24th. Now, this isn't technically the first time Ed performed 'Take It Back', he did sneak it in to his set at a tiny, 200-person lounge show in New York back in October, but this is the first time it was performed in front of a proper audience - Thank you to the fan that filmed it!
FYI, Teenage Cancer Trust is a UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chance of survival for young people between the ages of 13 and 24 living with Cancer. They believe that teenagers should not have to stop being teenagers just because they have cancer. They bring young people together so they can be treated together, by teenage cancer experts, in an environment suited to their needs. #Amazing
I have only been to the Royal Albert Hall once so watching Ed Sheeran perform on that stage definitely gave me goose bumps! Next up for Ed, SNL on April 12th with host Seth Rogen!
