When my family wakes up, and hits the ground running, I’m already at work. I want to make sure they’re getting a good breakfast, because it sets the tone for the rest of the day.

So, when I saw this recipe on Pintrest, for a make-ahead, healthy breakfast, I thought I’d try it. It must be catching on, because I’ve seen a bunch of other people post the recipe on their facebook pages, too.

If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a shot. It’s super easy, and really yummy.

No-Cook Refrigerator Oatmeal In A Jar

1/4 cup uncooked old fashioned oats

1/4 cup skim milk

1/4 cup low fat yogurt

Half a banana-cut up

1 large spoonful of nutella

Add all ingredients into a bowl, reserving a few bananas to place on top. Mix well, and pour into glasses. Add reserved bananas to the top.

Cover, and place in refrigerator overnight, then enjoy!

(feel free to substitute bananas for another fruit)
