Insane Car Chase Starts In Minneapolis & Ends In Plymouth

Update - 4:30 p.m.

A spokesperson for the Minneapolis Police Department provided additional details surrounding the high-profile police incident in Plymouth Monday afternoon. 

According to authorities, Minneapolis police tried to stop a vehicle in North Minneapolis shortly before 2 p.m. The department says an individual in the vehicle was wanted in connection with a shooting.

That vehicle fled the scene and officers pursued, going through "several cities." Police requested air support from the Minnesota State Patrol, but were unable to secure it. In an effort to end the chase, an officer with the Crystal Police Department used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle in question.
