The Twin Cities got hit by snow on Tuesday, central and northern Minnesota received accumulating snow on Thursday, and it appears that far southern Minnesota stands the best chance for the next round of accumulating snow this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, the storm system on Saturday night into Sunday "should produce a larger area with a few inches of snowfall over the course of the day," with the "heaviest snowfall amounts" along the Minnesota-Iowa border.
