St. John's Properties is a relatively small company, just under 200 employees, but those employees have made the company extremely successful and the founder and chairman Edward St. John, shocked employees with a massive Christmas bonus.
St. John announced at the company Christmas party that the employees would receive, collectively, $10 million in bonuses this year.
The bonuses, based on tenure, average about $50,000 while some employees received upwards of $250,000. Pretty nice added bonus!
Here's video of some of the employees' reactions. They were understandably ecstatic with some using the money to pay off their mortgages, send their kids to college, and take dream vacations.
