Shakopee Woman Calls 911 On Herself After Breaking Into Zipline Park

A 21-year-old Shakopee woman got tangled up with the law when she allegedly broke into the Kerfoot Canopy Tour to go zip lining early Saturday morning.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call at 12:07 a.m. Saturday from a woman who had hurt herself at the zip lining area about six miles north of Henderson.

Deputies found the woman had broken into the property after hours and tried to use the zip line on her own, according to a Sibley County press release.

“The adult female sustained some injuries after she was unable to slow her speed on the zip line course,” the press release says. “The adult female was unable to get down from a platform on her own.”

Owner Lee Kerfoot said the woman broke into the zip lining park with a climbing harness “to go for a joyride in the middle of the night.”
