Martha Stewart Partners With Marijuana Company

Martha Stewart is working with a cannabis company to help people and animals.

The 77-year-old lifestyle expert joined Canadian marijuana company Canopy Growth (whom her BFF Snoop Dogg is also partnered with), the Daily Mail reports. Stewart is an advisor for the company helping to develop CBD products to help treat anxiety in animals.

She said of the partnership: "I'm especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people's beloved pets."

Stewart is best known in recent years for her cooking show with infamous weed enthusiast and rapper, Snoop Dogg. She has admitted that while she doesn't smoke marijuana, she's indulged in a gummy candy that contained marijuana (called an "edible").

CBD is the non-psychoactive chemical found in marijuana. Unlike THC, CBD does not get you high and is legal. In fact, it's sold in small shops and grocery stores right here in the Twin Cities. Medical News Today says CBD has various health benefits, including pain relief.
