Police are investigating an alleged double homicide at an apartment complex in which a mother and daughter were left dead.
According to 5 Eyewitness News , officers responded to the apartment building in the Marcy Holmes neighborhood on a report of shots fired. They found two women dead from gunshot wounds inside the building. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Though authorities have not identified the victims, friends of the women have. 5 Eyewitness News confirmed the victims were a mother and daughter whose names were revealed in the video, however, I'm not publishing them in writing to avoid misspelling at the time of this blog post being published. Law enforcement says the suspect (or suspects) had already fled the scene upon their arrival.
