Uber Will Soon Deliver Food By Drone in the Twin Cities

Uber is joining Amazon, UPS, and 7-Eleven in having ambitions to deliver food by drone to Twin Cities customers in the near future.

According to USA TODAY, Uber is looking to expand its UberEats brand to deliver food by drone in 2021. Both Amazon and UPS have already expressed their efforts to make drone delivery a reality, while 7-Eleven has already delivered items to 77 customers in Reno, Nevada, in their partnership with drone maker Flirtey back in 2016.

Are you excited to order food from Uber to be delivered by drone, or are you motivated enough to go get your food (or talk to a delivery person at your front door)?
