VIDEO: Let Someone Else Live Your Life as a Human Uber

Video conference technology like Skype or FaceTime is a great thing when you're communicating with family and friends in another state or working remotely. But is the "Human Uber" going too far?

According to its website via Vice, the ChameleonMask "uses a real human as a surrogate for another remote user." Said surrogate essentially straps a "mask-shaped display that shows a remote user's live face, and a voice channel transmits a remote user's voice." In simple terms, think of it this way: there's another person attending a concert for you with an iPad strapped to their forehead while you're live on FaceTime taking in the view.

OUTLOUD's "demo" of the Chameleon Mask may not be the real deal, but this is exactly what we're all thinking. After watching the video, tell me what you think of the Chameleon Mask on Twitter @mollieonair
