Ben Affleck revealed that he recently completed a stint in rehab for alcohol addiction via a Facebook post he shared on Tuesday.
Affleck, who previously spent time in rehab in 2001, also mentioned he was "lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”
He and his wife Jennifer Garner announced their separation in 2015, but have not formally divorced yet. The two have three children together: two daughters and one son. In recent weeks, it was reported that the longtime couple could be reconciling.
“She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try,” a source close to Garner told People magazine.
