There has been much speculation about what U2 will be doing this year as far as their thirteenth album. The band was originally planning to release the album, then they were not, and now there are rumors that the band will release the yet to be titled album in November, according to the Irish Examiner.
There is also speculation about a possible September release stemming from a Spanish tweet sent out by a branch of Universal Music Group that says the band will release something titled “Sirens” in September. Now it is unclear as to what “Sirens” is, whether it is in fact the name of the album, or just the first single.
Let the rumors swirl, because now that Bono has overcome his little spurt with writers block, the legendary band can get back to writing massive hits.
