Ask anyone who the greatest singer of all time is and you'll likely get a variety of answers. While there is no real unbiased way to measure the talent of a singer, Concert Hotels has created a chart that shows the vocal range artists have reached during their recording careers.

Coming in number one on the list with the largest vocal range is Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose. Rose beat out some tough competition including Mariah Carey, Prince, Steven Tyler and James Brown. His range of F1 - B♭6 spans an impressive five octaves.

Coming in at the bottom of the list is country crooner Luke Bryan who's in good company with Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Sam Cooke and Karen Carpenter.

The list has some unexpected results with Adele falling into the bottom half of the list while legends such as Paul McCartney and Elvis Presley sit firmly near the top.
