Last night Lorde quietly lifted the veil off another new cut from her upcoming 'Pure Heroine' release and like 'Royals', 'Team' has Ella dispensing sarcastic quips about her crew and city with an understated swagger that we've grown to love. For a while, the tune was exclusively available via YouTube but has since been put up for sale in the New Zealand and Australian iTunes US purchase options just yet. The description that accompanied the YouTube release leads us to believe that Ella has more than a little flair for the dramatic:

"i am in paris as i release this. every street we drive down makes my eyes pop with the most incredible things carved in stone, and gilded on pillars, and wrought with metal; the heroes and heroines of this city aren't so hard to find. this song's are a little more mismatched, less classic courtesans on their pedestals, but nonetheless brilliant. this song is kinda of that world, and at the same time, very much of this one. enjoy."

You'll be able to add 'Team' to your music collection when 'Pure Heroine' finally hits retailers on September 30th.
